Squeezing in an extensive skincare routine at home when your life is in constant chaos due to work and other obligations--like motherhood-- is rarely possible.

While some days I (regretfully) skip the toner and subsequent products, cleansing is a must by hook or by crook.

My cleansers are usually packed in a tube, but this Queen Cleanser by Omorovicza is in a soft pink jar. Inside, the cleanser is in a rich, creamy texture. It smells glorious and glides onto the skin so smoothly.

The reason for this is that it carries a melting balm formula that's designed as a day cream. The blend of nutrient-rich oils and urban shielding microalgae helps to maintain a sense of nourishment through the day. The texture is inspired by nostalgic, cold-cream rituals.

Some key ingredients include the evening primrose oil, vitamin E, calendula extract, moringa seed peptide and Omorovicza's Healing Concentrate.

While I usually apply the cleanser with a wet face, the brand suggests massaging the cleanser on dry skin. I purposely leave my make-up on to see if it's able to cleanse my make-up off effectively.

I feel that my make-up is fully removed, avoiding the need to double cleanse. Afterwards, my skin feels completely refreshed and hydrated.

QUEEN OF HUNGARY MIST

This product is a cocktail of hydrating skincare ingredients, encapsulated in the patented Healing Concentrate. Treat it like a spritz anytime of the day for a little pick-me-up.

The brand recommends spraying onto the skin when it feels dry, dull and lacking in radiance. A little fun fact, this spritz was inspired by the world's first perfume, named the Queen of Hungary which was specially created for the Queen Elizabeth of Hungary in the 14th century.

I'm not a huge fan of the scent, but I do like the refreshing effect on my skin whenever I use it. It's a handy tool to bring around, especially if your skin tends to dry up when sitting in an air conditioned room all day.
