A few months back, the world was entertained by an image of a gigantic cat that oversees the crowd at Tokyo's Shinjuku Station.

The tricolour feline was actually part of a 3D billboard in Tokyo, but the realistic portrayal of the animal looking at the pedestrians below won hearts the world over.

Here in Kuala Lumpur, American brand Coach has unveiled a cool new bespoke window display at the Pavilion Elite giant LED screen, using pretty much the same principles as Tokyo's gigantic cat.

The visual features the house's beloved mascot Rexy in supersized form. It boasts 3D innovation and technology, with Rexy walking around the screen holding Coach's iconic Rogue bags, reflecting the carrier's unique attitude inspired by free-spirits, rebels and dreamers.

Called Windows of the Future, the installation is part of Coach's initiative that re-imagines Coach stores around the world as community hubs with custom experiences.

Pavilion Elite marks one of the nine Coach stores worldwide that feature the unique window.

These window displays were done in collaboration with local artists, highlighting Coach's beloved house motifs and recent brand campaigns for local audiences.

Other stores include Coach House in New York City, Ala Moana, Mitsukoshi, Michigan Avenue, Senayan City and Yorkdale.

To make the experience more thrilling, customers participated in a digital AR game and stood a chance to win a Rogue bag.

The game was a continuous storyline from the Windows of the Future, where it transports customers to an AR experience and invites them to go on a mission to help Rexy capture more Rogue bags.
