Fashion e-commerce platform Zalora has partnered with Impact, the partnership management platform to launch the Zalora Community Influencer Programme.

The programme is a commission-based model which invites influencers and customers to participate by sharing referral links via their social media platforms. Zalora will then reward them commission based on sales.

Recommendations that successfully make sales can earn the influencer up to 15 per cent commission in cash back, or up to 10 per cent in cash.

Zalora chief marketing officer Jo Bjordal said: "By introducing the Zalora Community Influencer Programme powered by Impact, we are reshaping the way customers interact and shop with us, while rewarding our loyal fans and followers,"

Impact general manager for Southeast Asia, Antoine Gross said consumers have become wary of traditional forms of advertising so initiatives like this programme establishes a more authentic connection in the form of trusted information, reviews and recommendations that resonate with consumers.

Tracking any activity such as recruiting new influencers, contracting, payments, optimising, fraud protection and measuring will all be managed through Impact.
