The beauty industry is more than just creating products to help women feel more beautiful.

It also does amazing things for the world by giving back and helping those in need. Clarins, for example, has been actively doing its part to make the world a better place.

Since 2011, Clarins has partnered with Feed, a social enterprise founded by Lauren Bush-Lauren, to support its mission of ending food hunger, promote education and strengthen communities.

The partnership also aims to raise awareness on how people can make a measurable difference by empowering Clarins customers to give directly to those who need it the most, through their purchases.

This month, Clarins customers can participate and contribute to the programme by purchasing Clarins products worth RM380 and above, which comes with a special edition Feed pouch.

Every Clarins x Feed pouch is equivalent to donating seven school meals through Feed's non-profit partners.

MAKING USE OF SURPLUS FOOD

To support this campaign, Clarins Malaysia has also initiated a partnership with The Lost Food Project (TLFP), a local food bank that's dedicated to rescue and redistribute surplus food to people in need.

The collaboration will run for six months from October 2021 to March 2022, where Clarins Malaysia aims to improve the nutrition and health of the communities in need by providing up to 100,000 meals to those in need.

It also aims to combat climate change by rescuing nutritious food from going to landfills.

Clarins Malaysia encourages customers to be a part of the campaign where they can enjoy a RM1 off with any in-store purchase at Clarins retail boutiques and skin spa if they opt for no paper bag when shopping in-store.

From this, the RM1 will be channeled to TLFP to support Clarins' pledge to contribute 100,000 meals.
