SHAH ALAM: Canon Marketing Malaysia has announced the appointment of Shunji Yoshikai as its new president and chief executive officer effective from January 2022.
Yoshikai brings with him more than 30 years of experience, with a proven track record in driving business growth and developing strong distribution channels. Hailing from Japan, he has been helming different positions with Canon offices in South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, and China. His extensive experience spans sales and distribution, production management and development, and general management in the industry.
In his new role, Yoshikai will lead Canon Marketing Malaysia on its continuing journey of strong growth and innovation. With the Malaysian team, he will focus on strengthening both the business and retail segments of Canon - driving innovation in product ideas and digital solutions in the camera and printing industry, enhancing customer experience by focusing on digital transformation.
