KUALA LUMPUR: Honor Malaysia has introduced two laptop models from the Honor MagicBook X 15 series.

According to the company, the MagicBook X 15 sets the root for a feature Honor has been working on - an enhanced network ecosystem known as the 1+8+N Strategy for users.

And with the incoming Honor 50 smartphone as the main activation device, Honor said users can look forward for an interconnected ecosystem.

This 1.56 kg laptop features a 15.6-inch screen display with a 5.3mm-sized screen boundary on the left and right sides. An 87 per cent screen ratio allows high quality picture displays with bright colours.

Better performance

The Honor MagicBook X 15 is powered by the 10th Gen Intel Core Processor, alongside a large-capacity battery of 42Wh.

The large cooling system allows the laptop to achieve air intake up to 38 per cent higher as well as an efficient heat dissipation to maintain optimum temperature during longer period of use.

The MagicBook X 15 also comes with a dual-channel memory, improving the transmission rate by up to 50 per cent compared to single-channel memory. This enables users to process heavy-duty tasks with better ease and efficiency,

And with 8GB of DDR4 dual-channel RAM and one of the fastest internal storage drives, PCIe NVMe SSD, users can enjoy greater speed when processing multimedia files, editing photos and videos, or gaming with friends.

An enhanced Supersized Cooling Fan, which achieves up to 38 per cent higher air intake and enables efficient heat dissipation to maintain a manageable temperature even during long periods of use. Thanks to the massive 42Wh battery, users can enjoy up to 7.86 hours of local 1080p video playback or 7.3 hours of webpage browsing on a single full charge. The new 65W Fast Charger weighing at just 200g can power the device up to 53 per cent in just 30 minutes.

Other features

The MagicBook X15 features a fingerprint reading power button for a more secure and instant access. And multi-screen collaboration gives users to view their smartphone screen and files on the laptop – making any file editing, using the same keyboard and mouse now possible.

Price and availability

The Honor MagicBook X 15 (Intel Core 10th Gen i3, 256GB) is priced at RM2,299, while the MagicBook X 15 (Intel Core 10th Gen i5, 512GB) costs RM2,899. Both laptops come in Spave Gray and will be available from June 19, 2021.
