KUALA LUMPUR: LG Electronics Malaysia (LG) has announced a NanoCell 65-inch 8K TV, which is the company's first 8K TV in Malaysia.
Besides the 8K TV, the company also showcased its line of NanoCell 4K models.
LG Electronics Malaysia's managing director, Kim Kyutae, said one of the new features in the LG NanoCell 8K TV is the Pure Colours.
"The 8K TV offers 33 million pixels that provide higher density than normal TVs, and this translates into better colour viewing," he said.
The Pure Colours effect with 8K resolution (7680x4320) is said to give better colour production, contrast, frame rate from any wide viewing angle.
Besides, the TV's Dolby Atmos technology lulls viewers into the sound of nature, with immersive sound experience.
The NanoCell 8K TV also has an embedded α9 Gen3 AI processor. With deep learning algorithms, the processor analyses the content and gives extra sharpness to images, with face enhancement, AI brightness control, AI sound pro and adaptive sound control.
This TV is also made for gamers, where its low Iinput lag and fast response rate let them relish their heart-palpitating games.
The NanoCell TV also features a hands-free voice control, powered by LG ThinQ AI.
All you have to do is say "Hi LG" with instructions after and it will execute the task for you.
With the TV's Home Dashboard using the LG Magic Remote, users can also monitor and control home devices such as air purifier, air purifier, washing machine and appliances under LG and other IoT products.
The LG NannoCell 8K TV is available at RM21,999.
