KUALA LUMPUR: Goodyear Malaysia has expanded its products portfolio with the Assurance DuraPlus 2 range, which offers innovative tread design and long-lasting compound for car owners looking for 13- to 16-inch tyre sets.
The TredLife Technology injected into the design aims to deliver tread life of up to 110,000 km. With a symmetric design and larger tread width, more of the tyre surface will be in contact with the road and this also allows a higher level of flexibility to rotate in the event of irregular wear.
With an enhanced cavity shape, the Assurance DuraPlus 2 is also able to evenly distribute contact pressure thus extending mileage. Meanwhile narrow lateral grooves on the tyre's side and usage of rubber strips between the ply and liner respectively reduces road noise and dampen vibrations.
An enhanced compound formula is used to further strengthen the tyres. The Assurance DuraPlus 2 employs a minimum of two layers of high modulus, low shrinkage ply material in the sidewall, which helps to ensure strong resistance to external impacts.

The Goodyear Assurance DuraPlus 2 is now available at all Goodyear AutoCare centres across the nation, with a retail price between RM136 to RM293.
