Shell Malaysia and e-wallet service provider Boost have announced an e-wallet payment service available at 800 Shell stations.

The service, which began last month, is available at more than 80 per cent of the Shell stations and both companies are working to get the service available at all Shell stations by this month.

“We see this partnership as providing more convenience to our users, because now they can use our e-wallet at Shell stations,” said parent company to Boost, Axiata Digital Services Sdn Bhd chief executive officer, Mohd Khairil Abdullah, at the event.

Shell Malaysia Trading and Shell Timur managing director Shairan Huzani Husain said: “We are constantly looking to offer Malaysians a more convenient retail experience to make their journeys better.”

Boost and Shell are rewarding Malaysians with a promotion from May 14 to June 14. Customers get two times RM5 cashback if they spend RM40 with their Boost e-wallet at selected shell Stations.

The e-wallet platform has more than fourmillion users and more than 80,000 merchant touchpoints.
