KUALA LUMPUR: Nu-Prep, a health food product centred around Tongkat Ali that has been in the pharmacy market for 16 years, has expanded to TikTok marketplace.

The move offers a unique opportunity for social media users to earn income through "Affiliate" marketing. 

According to marketing manager Noorsyarida Mohd Sapiai, the company is always open to receiving inquiries from the public who want to earn an income.  

"We will distribute 300 free bottles to attract more affiliates, and we also offer a high commission of 20 per cent for each product sold.  

"We estimate that profits can range from RM20 to RM25, which is quite lucrative. That's why we are inviting the public to join us," she said during the recent launch of its TikTok campaign, Nu Prep Physta. 

Senior sales and marketing manager Izham Mohamed said TikTok is an excellent platform for marketing to young people, with many users aged 20 to 30 being health-conscious. 

"We see many young people going to the gym now and taking care of their health, and this platform can raise awareness about the benefits of Tongkat Ali, unlike other social media platforms where the audience is older," he noted. 

The company also launched its latest slogan campaign, "This Is Real Tongkat Ali," to convey the message that Nu Prep is the best choice for consumers looking for Tongkat Ali-based products.

Biotropics chief executive officer Haliza Ramli claimed that Nu Prep Physta is the only Tongkat Ali supplement that is 100 per cent proven through clinical research and studies. 

"We are grateful that this product has received approval and complies with the product guidelines and certifications from the FDA Center for Food Safety & Applied Nutrition in Europe, which proves that it is safe to consume," she said.
