KUALA LUMPUR: Port Klang Cruise Terminal Sdn Bhd (PKCT), jointly owned by Northport and Westports Malaysia Sdn Bhd, is planning to extend its wharf and develop associated facilities at its cruise terminal in Pulau Indah.

PKCT is a dedicated cruise terminal in Port Klang, providing port facilities and services for cruise ships and navy vessels on a land area measuring 28.2 hectare in Pulau Indah.

PKCT has awarded HSS Engineers Bhd's associate HSS Integrated Sdn Bhd (HSSI) a RM4.94 million contract for the provision of project management consultancy services at the terminal.

"The services conducted by HSSI shall include, but are not limited to preparation of pre-development studies, conceptual masterplan, project management and construction supervision of an engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) contract.

PKCT has handled more than five million local and international cruise passengers since the terminal started operations in December 1995.
