KUALA LUMPUR: JAKS Resources Bhd's subsidiary, JAKS Solar Power Sdn Bhd's plan to partner with Qhazanah Sabah Sdn Bhd (QSSB) to develop solar power and hydropower plants in Sabah has falled through.

In an announcement filed with Bursa Malaysia Securities, JAKS Resources informed that the memorandum of understanding (MoU) with QSSB has lapsed on July 7, 2023 with both parties agreeing not to extend the agreement.

JAKS Resources share up was up 2.78 per cent to close at 18.5 sen.
