KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia has taken a step forward in solidifying its position as the global hub for cyber technologies with the introduction of V-DARK, a cyber intelligence solution developed by Velum Labs Sdn Bhd, the cyber security arm of Sapura Group.

Prime minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim officiated the launch at The Langkawi International Maritime & Aerospace Exhibition 2023 (LIMA 2023).

"The launch of V-DARK by Velum Labs at this global industry event showcases Malaysia's home-grown capabilities consisting of the talented team of engineers and experts in delivering cutting-edge cyber solutions", Sapura Group president and group chief executive officer Tan Sri Shahril Shamsuddin said in a statement.
