KUALA LUMPUR: Theta Edge Bhd has appointed Nuraslina Zainal Abidin as its new group chief executive officer (CEO) effective from today.
Chairman Datuk Noordin Sulaiman said Nuraslina succeeded A.Shukor S.A.Karim who retired on June 28.
"The company believes the appointment of Nuraslina will drive its transformation and value creation," said Noordin in a statement today.
With Nuraslina's appointment, the company's executive committee would cease with immediate effect.
Nuraslina 46, was formerly CEO of Innovation Associates Consulting Sdn Bhd, a Dagang Nexchange Bhd subsidiary, and a founder and group managing director of Genaxis Group Sdn Bhd.
Nuraslina holds a B.S. (Hons) in Food and Science Technology from University of Science Malaysia.
Nuraslina has delivered over US$150 million in value and savings to customers through her leadership in digital transformations and business optimisations.
She brings her 17 years of experience in the transformation and optimisation of business processes and performance of blue-chip companies.
She has led various technology mega projects and strategic initiatives for digital transformation, Theta Edge said.
